Qualifying candidates receive a CG TET eligibility certificate after result declaration, which is now valid for a lifetime as per NCTE guidelines. This certificate makes candidates eligible to apply for primary and upper primary teaching positions in Chhattisgarh schools.
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board conducted CG TET 2026 in offline mode across two shifts on February 1, 2026. Paper 1 for primary teachers (Classes 1-5) was held in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM, while Paper 2 for upper primary teachers (Classes 6-8) was conducted in the afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM.
Candidates who registered for CG TET 2026 could download their admit cards from the official portal starting January 23, 2026. The hall tickets contained exam center details, shift timings, and reporting instructions for the February 1 examination.
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board opened online registrations from November 13 to December 8, 2025, allowing eligible B.Ed, D.El.Ed, and graduate candidates to apply for the Teacher Eligibility Test. A correction window was also provided from December 9-11, 2025.
