A topic is offered only when Shishya's checked bank holds at least 25 different questions for it (the same skill is pooled across exams, without questions that need a figure), so every attempt draws a fresh set.
Typing practice certificate
On the typing test, finish a 5-minute test (English or Hindi) with at least 90% accuracy and make a certificate with your net speed. The speed is measured in your own browser and the test is not supervised, so it is a practice certificate, not an official government typing test.
Want a credential that counts?
NPTEL and SWAYAM courses are free to learn; their certificate needs a proctored exam with a fee, and under UGC's SWAYAM credit rules your university may count the credits.

Questions
Is the certificate free?
Yes. The test and the certificate are free. Your first test needs no account; sign up free to take more.
What does the certificate prove?
That someone passed a 15-question Shishya test on that topic (11 or more correct in 20 minutes) on the date shown. The test is not supervised. It is a Shishya completion certificate — not a university or government credential.
How can an employer check it?
Each certificate has its own link on shishya.in. The page checks Shishya's digital signature on the link, so a changed name, score or date shows as not valid.
Is there a certificate that counts as university credit?
Not from Shishya. NPTEL and SWAYAM courses end in a proctored exam with a fee; under UGC's SWAYAM credit rules a university may count the credits. Shishya's NPTEL and SWAYAM credit pages explain the steps.
Does Shishya store my name?
No. The name is written into the certificate link itself, so anyone with the link can see it. Certificates are for ages 13 and up.
