The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has released the notification for MP TET 2026 for in-service teachers. Online applications began on August 21, 2026, and will continue until September 4, 2026. Approximately 1.5 lakh teachers are expected to appear for the exam.
Despite the commencement of the application process, confusion over eligibility criteria continues within the School Education Department. Teachers appointed through Vyapam between 2005-2009 and promoted teachers are seeking clarity on their exam eligibility status.
MPESB has officially announced that the MP TET 2026 examination will be conducted starting October 12, 2026. This special TET is for in-service primary and secondary teachers who have not yet cleared the TET as per Supreme Court directives.
