Jharkhand Academic Council has opened the JTET 2026 application correction portal from August 20 to August 31, 2026. Candidates who made errors in their forms can now make corrections. The application window is also open for validated candidates during this period.
The application deadline for JTET 2026 has been extended several times, from the initial May 21 to June 2, then to June 20, and finally to July 20, 2026. This follows procedural issues including a regional language dispute over Bhojpuri, Angika, and Magahi languages.
The JTET 2026 exam was initially scheduled for June 14, 2026, but the exam date is now pending confirmation. Delays stem from an unresolved linguistic dispute and procedural errors that led to revisions in the notification.
