Mock interview practice

For UPSC, State PSC, bank and MBA (CAT) finalists. Pick a question, type your answer as you would say it, and ask an AI practice partner for feedback. Free: your first feedback needs no account; sign up free to keep using it.

Where the UPSC questions come from

UPSC's notice names the qualities its board looks for: mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion and leadership, intellectual and moral integrity. Each UPSC practice question here works on one of them. Source: UPSC Civil Services Examination notice No. 05/2026-CSE, dated 04.02.2026 (read 23 Oct 2026). The questions themselves are Shishya's, not UPSC's.

What the feedback can and cannot tell you

The AI scores four things from 1 to 4: answers the question asked, clear and logical, balance of judgement, specific and real. It is a practice partner that can be wrong, not a board: it gives no marks and says nothing about selection. You can speak your answer: where your browser has speech recognition, it turns your voice into text in the answer box. No audio is recorded or sent to Shishya; only the answer text is sent, once, when you ask for feedback, and it is not stored.

This practice uses AI feedback, so it is for candidates aged 13 and up.

Your answer is not saved.

WAT practice (MBA)

Pick one of Shishya's own topics, write against a 30-minute timer, then ask an AI coach for feedback on the essay's structure: the opening, the body, the close, and whether it stays on the topic. There is no score, and it says nothing about how an IIM would mark your writing; each IIM runs its own writing test. Open it with the "WAT" tab above or at /interview-practice?mode=wat.
