CAT 2026 season pack
Two free open mocks before the test, your marks from the CAT response sheet, the IIM call check and WAT practice, in one place.
CAT 2026: Sunday, 29 November 2026, in three sessions (forenoon, afternoon and evening)
- Admit card from Wednesday, 4 November 2026.
- 120 minutes in three sections — Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning; Quantitative Ability — with exactly 40 minutes for each, in a fixed order.
- Marking: +3 for a right answer; −1 for a wrong MCQ; nothing lost for a wrong typed (non-MCQ) answer or a question left.
- Results: the first week of January 2027 (likely, per the Information Bulletin).
- Conducted this year by IIM Indore.

- The same paper for everyone who takes it that Sunday. Each opens on the live test page; a free sign-up is needed to take it.
- When you submit, you see your rank among those who have taken it so far ("#k of N who took it"). It is not a CAT percentile.
- The questions are Shishya's checked practice questions in the CAT pattern. CAT papers are not officially released, so none of them is a CAT paper.
- One 90-minute paper: unlike CAT, the sections are not timed or locked separately.

2. CAT response sheet to marks
After the test, paste your CAT response sheet page. If it marks the right answers, they are used; if not, paste the official key as Question ID and correct Option ID (or the answer, for a typed question). Marks follow the CAT FAQ's scheme. No percentile is shown: the CAT bulletin and FAQs publish no score-to-percentile table, and your score card gives your percentile.

For SSC, RRB, NTA and other exams whose response sheet is a TCS iON page. It is read in this browser only — nothing is sent to Shishya or stored, and your name, roll number and photo are not read. Your first marks are free without an account; sign up free to keep using it.
3. IIM call check
Check your percentiles and marks against each IIM's own 2027-29 admission policy. Policies read so far: IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore. Not yet posted when we looked (27 Oct 2026): IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Indore, IIM Shillong, IIM Rohtak, JAP IIMs (Raipur, Ranchi, Tiruchirappalli, Kashipur), CAP IIMs (Common Admission Process).
4. WAT practice
The 2027-29 policies of IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta each give marks to a writing test at the interview stage. Write on one of Shishya's own topics against a 30-minute timer and get AI feedback on the essay's structure. No score: the feedback is AI-written and can be wrong.
