The National Standard Examination in Biology will be conducted on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at designated centres across India. This serves as Stage 1 of the Biology Olympiad pathway leading to the International Biology Olympiad.
NSEB 2026 student enrolment will begin on August 21 and close on September 14, 2026. Students can register through their schools or directly via the IAPT website with a registration fee of ₹300. No late registrations will be accepted after the deadline.
The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education has released the INBO 2026 result for students who qualified through NSEB 2025. Selected candidates can check their Group A and Group B status for the next stage, the Orientation cum Selection Camp in Biology.
