SCERT Punjab declared the PSTET 2026 result on 7th April 2026 for the exam held on 15th March 2026. Candidates can download scorecards from pstet2025.org using registration number and password. Qualifying marks remain 60% for General/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/OBC categories.
In a significant development aligned with NEP 2020 and NCTE guidelines, the PSTET eligibility certificate validity has been extended from 7 years to lifetime. Qualified candidates can use this certificate for teacher recruitment applications in Punjab schools.
SCERT Punjab published the final answer key on 5th April 2026 after reviewing objections submitted between 17th-21st March. The provisional answer key was released on 16th March, a day after the examination.
A total of 53,474 candidates appeared for PSTET Paper 1 (Classes 1-5), out of which 28,243 candidates have qualified. The offline OMR-based exam was conducted across multiple centres in Punjab.
