RPF Constable (Executive) — Railway Protection Force recruitment by the RRBs
Recruitment of Constables (Executive) in the Railway Protection Force and RPSF, run by the Railway Recruitment Boards. Selection is a computer-based test of 120 questions in 90 minutes (Arithmetic 35, General Intelligence & Reasoning 35, General Awareness 50) at Class 10 standard, then a physical efficiency and measurement test, document verification and a medical examination. Two full papers of 120 questions in 90 minutes, in the official sections and counts (Arithmetic 35, General Intelligence & Reasoning 35, General Awareness 50). - General awareness here is static (history, geography, polity, economy, science, sports). There are no current-affairs questions, because those go out of date; read the news for that part.

RRB offered a bank-detail correction window from September 16 to October 3, 2026 for failed examination-fee refunds related to the completed CEN RPF 02/2024 recruitment.
As of October 2026, no new RPF Constable notification has been released. The recruitment authority has shifted from Railway Recruitment Boards to Staff Selection Commission following the RPF Amendment Rules, 2025, but SSC has not yet announced the recruitment in its calendar.
The Railway Recruitment Boards completed the last RPF Constable recruitment cycle in February 2026, provisionally empanelling 4,205 candidates for 4,208 vacancies after CBT, PET/PMT and document verification.
