Takeaways for prep planning
- CAT (Creative Ability Test) carries 60% of the written weight. Most rejection happens here — daily 1-2 hr sketching + colour practice for 6+ months is the standard prep timeline.
- GAT is JEE-Main lite — most JEE/CAT aspirants find it manageable; pure-Humanities candidates need focused quant + reasoning prep.
- Situation Test (post-shortlist) is a 3D model-making round with given materials. Practice with everyday materials (cardboard, foam board, fabric scraps).
