Education
IMA / OTA: Bachelor's (any discipline). INA: Bachelor's in Engineering. AFA: Bachelor's with Physics + Maths at 10+2 OR Bachelor's in Engineering.
  • Final-year graduates can appear if results are out before the academy commencement date.
  • Engineering degree mandatory for the Naval Academy.
Attempts
No formal attempt limit other than the upper age cap.

Indian citizen (or Nepal/Bhutan subject for IMA & OTA; specific certificate norms apply).

  • Unmarried male candidates for IMA / INA / AFA. OTA admits both unmarried males and females (and married males in special quotas).
