Telangana ePASS: apply, renew and check status

Telangana's post-matric scholarships are applied for on ePASS (telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in; newer services run on tgepass.cgg.gov.in). On 22 Oct 2026 the 2026-27 fresh registration page said registrations were open for ST, BC, EBC, Minority and Disabled Welfare students — SC students should check the ePASS home page for their own notice.

Every step below was read on the official pages listed at the end, on 22 Oct 2026.

Shishya never asks for your Aadhaar, bank details or any ID. Nothing on this page asks you for anything. Type those details only on the official portal, at its own address.

What the 2026-27 fresh registration page asks for

  • SSC (Class 10) hall ticket number, year of pass and pass type.
  • Aadhaar number or Aadhaar Enrolment ID.
  • MeeSeva caste certificate, and a MeeSeva income certificate issued after 01-04-2025.
  • A bank account in a nationalised bank (the page says this is not needed for EBC students).
  • A mobile number for OTP, study certificates for seven consecutive years, and the CET allotment order where your course was allotted through a CET.
  • Intermediate students: the page says the college principal completes the admission entry on the BIE portal.

Fresh application, step by step

  1. Open Fresh Registration 2026-27 on ePASS. Fresh registration 2026-27 ↗
  2. Fill the form with the SSC details, Aadhaar, certificates and bank account; upload your photo, the passbook front page and the certificates the page lists; click "Apply Now" and note the Application ID.
  3. Biometric Aadhaar authentication: the ePASS home page tells students to visit the nearest MeeSeva centre with their Application ID.
  4. Your college verifies the application before it is sanctioned — ask its scholarship section what it needs from you.

Renewal

  1. Renewals are on the newer tgepass.cgg.gov.in site; its OTR Number Entry page asks for the academic year, Application ID and SSC pass type, year and exam number. tgepass.cgg.gov.in ↗

Check status and payment

  • "Know Your Application No." if you lost it, and "Reasons for Rejection" — both on the ePASS home page. ePASS home ↗
  • "Bank Remittance Details" and "Scholarship Trans ID Details" (on the Telangana treasury site, linked from ePASS) show what was paid to your account.
  • Grievance: ePASS grievance interface on tgepass.cgg.gov.in.
