Age: 16 – 24 years (General)B.Des / B.FTech: 24 years on 1 August of admission year. No upper age for M.Des / M.FTech / M.FM.
Education: B.Des / B.FTech: Class 12 (any stream) with minimum 50% aggregate. M.Des / M.FTech: Bachelor's degree in the relevant field.
Attempts: No formal attempt limit (within age cap for UG).
Nationality: Indian citizen + OCI / foreign nationals (supernumerary seats).

Bachelor of Design (B.Des) ranks are tighter than B.FTech because UG seats are fewer (~250 per metro campus).
