संधी म्हणजे दोन शब्द किंवा शब्दांचे भाग एकत्र येताना त्यांच्या सीमेवर होणारा ध्वनिबदल. येथे संधीचे प्रकार ओळखणे, संधी विग्रह करणे आणि संधीयुक्त शब्द तयार करणे या तीन कौशल्यांची चाचणी घेतली जाते.
Key ideas
- संधी व्याख्या: दोन ध्वनी (स्वर/व्यंजन) जवळ आल्यावर त्यांचे एकत्रीकरण होऊन नवीन ध्वनी तयार होणे म्हणजे संधी.
- संधी विग्रह: संधीयुक्त शब्दातील मूळ दोन शब्द वेगळे करणे. उदा. विद्यालय → विद्या + आलय.
- स्वरसंधी (Swar Sandhi): दोन स्वर एकत्र आल्यावर होणारा बदल. मराठीत सर्वाधिक महत्त्वाची संधी.
- व्यंजनसंधी (Vyanjan Sandhi): व्यंजन + स्वर किंवा व्यंजन + व्यंजन यांच्या संयोगाने होणारा बदल.
- विसर्गसंधी: विसर्ग (ः) आणि त्यापुढील स्वर/व्यंजन यांचा संयोग.
