Prep strategy
Quant is high-school-level math + tricks. Verbal is the harder section for most Indian students — heavy vocabulary + reading comprehension. Magoosh, Manhattan 5-lb book, Greg Mat. Target 320+ for top US MS programs; many programs now GRE-optional post-2020.

Every test publisher (ETS, IDP, Pearson, GMAC) ships free official practice tests. Use those first before paying for any coaching. The official tests are the highest signal — coaching only matters once you've identified weaknesses from official mocks.
