BITSAT — BITS Admission Test (BITS Pilani)
BITSAT is BITS Pilani's computer-based admission test for its first-degree programmes (B.E., M.Sc. and B.Pharm.). BITSAT-2027 dates are not announced: on 27 September 2026 the admissions site says the 2026–27 admission cycle is closed. Pattern as in the BITSAT-2026 brochure: one 3-hour sitting with no break, 130 multiple-choice questions — Physics 30, Chemistry 30, English Proficiency 10, Logical Reasoning 20, and Mathematics or Biology 40 — with 3 marks for a correct answer and 1 deducted for a wrong one; a candidate who answers all 130 may attempt 12 extra questions. Questions and instructions are in English only. A candidate may sit up to two sessions; the higher score counts. Eligibility (2026): 12th under the 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or Biology, for B.Pharm., B.E. Environmental and Sustainability Engineering and M.Sc. Biological Sciences), at least 75% aggregate in those three subjects and 60% in each.
