First-year students at a government engineering college (not an IIT) in mechanical/production, electrical, electronics, electronics and telecommunication, computer science/IT or instrumentation; aged up to 20; at least 60% in SSC (Class 10), and in HSC (Class 12) at least 50% overall with 60% in PCM; one student per family. Half the scholarships are reserved for girls. Every condition must be met.
