The PM YASASVI component that pays school fees for OBC, EBC and DNT students at Top Class Schools, from Class 9 until they finish Class 12. Apply on the National Scholarship Portal; the school verifies the application and the state confirms it.

Tuition fee, hostel fee and other school charges — up to ₹75,000 a year in Class 9–10 and ₹1,25,000 a year in Class 11–12, paid to the student's bank account.

OBC, EBC or DNT students already studying in Class 9–12 at a school the Ministry has listed as a Top Class School, with household income under ₹2.5 lakh a year. Awarded on a state-wise merit list (boys and girls separately) of the previous class's final-exam marks; at least 30% of awards go to girls. There is no entrance test.
