Olympiad prep: IOQM and the SOF olympiads
For each olympiad: who can sit it, the pattern, the 2026-27 dates, the official syllabus and the free sample or past papers the conducting body itself publishes. Every fact links to the page it was read on, on 23 Oct 2026. Nothing is copied here, and nothing on these pages asks for a name, an email or a sign-in.
Mathematics olympiad (India's route to the International Mathematical Olympiad)

The first stage of India's mathematical olympiad. Students who do well go on to the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO), then the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO), from which India's team for the International Mathematical Olympiad is chosen.
SOF olympiads (held in schools)
The Science Olympiad Foundation runs these in schools; students register through their school. SOF's "IMO" is its own maths olympiad, not the International Mathematical Olympiad.
