The Punjab Public Service Commission issued an official notice on 15 July 2026 stating that the Mains result is expected around October 2026. PPSC cited the high volume of candidates (4-5 times more than previous cycles) as the reason for extended evaluation time.
The Punjab PCS Mains examination (7 papers) for the 2025 recruitment cycle was conducted from 1-10 April 2026. Approximately 4,238 candidates appeared for 331 posts including DSP, Tehsildar, and ETO positions.
PPSC released separate notifications for PCS Register A-II and Register C recruitment for 26 posts reserved for Punjab Government employees with 8+ years of service. The screening test is expected in September/October 2026.
