Individual students can register for NSEJS through the official IAPT portal or via registered exam centres. The registration fee is ₹300 (non-refundable) and enrolment closes on September 14, 2026.
Students born between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2013, studying in Class 8, 9 or 10 as of November 30, 2026, are eligible. Candidates who have already completed Class 10 board exams before November 30, 2026 cannot apply.
The National Standard Examination in Junior Science will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM across centres nationwide. This is the first stage of India's IJSO selection process.
