- Upper age 44 = 34 raised by 10 years (G.O.Ms.No.42, 19/03/2022); Excise SI limit includes extra 5 years for uniformed services.
- Telangana categories: OC, EWS, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E (BC-E subject to court case), SC, ST. All BC groups are shown as OBC on the checker; SC/ST/BCs & EWS get 5 years.
- PwBD (physically handicapped): 10 years. Ex-servicemen and ex-NCC instructors: 3 years + length of service. Telangana State Govt employees: up to 5 years by length of service.
- No one eligible beyond 61 after all relaxations.
- BC community certificate must be issued by the competent authority of Telangana (Mee-Seva); EWS income certificate by Telangana Tahsildar — so category benefits are effectively for Telangana candidates.
