The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board has opened online applications for Sub Inspector and ASI posts. Applications can be submitted at www.tgprb.in until 9 September 2026.

The TS Police SI recruitment follows a multi-stage selection: Preliminary Written Test (200 marks, 2 hours), Physical Measurement and Efficiency Tests, Final Written Examination, and Certificate Verification. Qualifying marks are 40% for OC, 35% for BC, and 30% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

The Telangana Government has extended the upper age limit by 7 years (5+2) for uniformed services recruitment. For SI posts, the effective upper age limit is now 32 years instead of 25 years as on 1 July 2026.

Candidates must be between 21-25 years of age as on 1 July 2026 with age relaxation for reserved categories. Bachelor's degree from a recognized university is mandatory for SI posts, while ASI (Fingerprint Bureau) requires B.E. qualification.
