General Knowledge and Mental Ability
BODMAS Trap Alert — Division = Multiplication priority (left-to-right). "8÷2×4" = 16, NOT 1. Same rank operators go left-to-right always; brackets override everything.
Blood Relations: Gender-Neutral First — "Child/sibling/parent/spouse" keeps options open. Only assign M/F after analyzing entire statement. "A's sibling's child" stays neutral until constrained.
Divisibility by 11 Trick — Alternating digit sum difference. For 8547: (8+4)-(5+7)=0, divisible. For 121: (1+1)-2=0. If difference is 0 or ±11, ±22, etc., divisible by 11.
Direction Sense: NEWS Circle — Draw North top, East right, West left, South bottom. Right turn = clockwise 90°. Left turn = anticlockwise 90°. Two rights = U-turn. Track final position.
Syllogism Venn Strategy — Draw circles for each term. "All A are B" = A inside B. "Some A are B" = overlap. "No A are B" = separate. Test conclusion by checking if circles match statement.
Coding: Alphabet Position Method — A=1, B=2...Z=26. Reverse: A=26, Z=1. For shifts: A+3=D (Caesar). For number codes, map alphabet positions to digits (A=1, B=2).
Number Series: Difference of Differences — If first differences don't show pattern, check second differences. Series 2,5,10,17,26: differences 3,5,7,9 (gap +2). Next: 26+11=37.
Blood Group Mnemonics — Anti-B in A-blood, Beats-A in B-blood, AB accepts ABsolutely all, O offers to all (universal donor). Rh+ can take ±; Rh- only takes −.
