SSC CPO — Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination (Staff Selection Commission)

The Staff Selection Commission's Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2026 (SSC CPO) recruits Sub-Inspectors (Executive) in Delhi Police, Sub-Inspectors (GD) in the CAPFs and Sub-Inspectors (Fire) in the CISF — Level-6 (Rs 35,400–1,12,400). Notice of 10 September 2026: apply online by 30 September 2026 (23:00), fee by 1 October 2026; correction window 8–10 October 2026; the computer-based exam date is 'to be notified later'. Stages: Paper-I, physical standard and endurance tests, Paper-II and a medical examination. Paper-I: 100 questions for 100 marks in 1 hour (15-minute sectional timer) — General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension, 25 each — with 0.25 deducted per wrong answer. Paper-II: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude, 20 questions for 40 marks each, in 1 hour (20-minute sectional timer), and English Comprehension, 100 questions for 200 marks, in 1 hour — with 0.50 deducted per wrong answer. Parts I–III of both papers are set in Hindi and English. Age 20–25 on 1 August 2026 (18–30 for SI Fire in CISF), relaxations apply. Education: a bachelor's degree (SI Fire: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, or matriculation plus a three-year engineering diploma).
