- Born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006 (both inclusive).
- Ex-servicemen / disabled ESM: actual defence service + 3 years (8 years for SC/ST disabled ESM), max age 50.
- Widows, divorced and judicially separated women not remarried: 7 years, capped at 35 (General/EWS), 38 (OBC), 40 (SC/ST).
- Trained SBI apprentices (engagement from 01.01.2022, one year completed by 31.08.2026): Gen/EWS 1, OBC 4, SC/ST 6, PwBD Gen/EWS 11, PwBD OBC 14, PwBD SC/ST 16 years.
- No cumulative relaxation beyond the listed items; creamy-layer OBC get no relaxation.

Other conditions in the notice
- Indian citizens only (as stated in the advertisement).
- Apply for one State/UT only; test may be taken only once under this project.
- Must be proficient in the opted local language of that State/UT; language test after Mains unless 10th/12th mark sheet shows that language was studied.
- Existing or ex-SBI clerical staff (resigned in clerical cadre) are not eligible.
- Final-year students may apply provisionally; must prove graduation by 31.12.2026 if selected.
