The Maharashtra State CET Cell has extended the CAP counselling registration deadline to July 16, 2026, with document verification continuing until July 17. The provisional merit list is scheduled for July 15, with the final merit list expected on July 20.

This year, MHT-CET was conducted in two sessions similar to JEE pattern: Session 1 in April (PCM: April 11-20, PCB: April 21-26) and Session 2 in May (PCM: May 12-20, PCB: May 10-11). Candidates' best score from either session is considered for admissions.

The CET Cell has clarified the marking scheme and question distribution for this cycle's examination. Physics and Chemistry will have 50 questions each, while Mathematics and Biology papers will contain 50 questions respectively, maintaining the same pattern as previous years.
