The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has officially discontinued the LSAT India examination from 2025 onwards as part of a business decision. Students seeking law admissions must now consider alternative exams such as CLAT, AILET, or institution-specific tests.
Following LSAT India's discontinuation, O.P. Jindal Global Law School will accept LNAT UK scores for 5-year integrated LLB courses. The JSAT Law exam will be used for 3-year LLB, LLM, and BA in Law programs.
With LSAT India no longer available, candidates are encouraged to prepare for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) for NLU admissions or AILET for National Law University, Delhi. Individual private law colleges may conduct their own entrance exams.
Candidates who appeared for LSAT India in 2024 or earlier should retain their scorecards as scores are valid for five years. Some participating colleges may still accept these scores for admissions based on institutional policies.
