Assessment FOR vs OF — *FOR* = Formative, Ongoing, Remedy (like a health check-up during treatment). *OF* = Outcome, Final judgement (like final diagnosis). FOR guides; OF grades.
Piaget's Four Stages — Sensorimotor (0–2 yr), Preoperational (2–7 yr), Concrete operational (7–11 yr), Formal operational (11+ yr). Mnemonic: Smart People Can Fly.
Kohlberg's Three Levels — Pre-conventional (punishment-reward), Conventional (social norms), Post-conventional (universal principles). Remember: P-C-P = Pre, Conventional, Post.
Vygotsky's ZPD Trick — Zone of Proximal Development = gap between *what child does alone* vs *with help*. Think: Zone Perfectly Defines scaffolding need.
RTE 2009 Key Numbers — Ages 6–14 (compulsory education), 25% EWS quota, PTR 30:1 (primary), 35:1 (upper primary). Remember: 6-14-25-30-35.
Language I — Hindi
Alankar Types — Three main: Shabdalankar (word-based), Arthalankar (meaning-based), Ubhayalankar (both). Mnemonic: SAU रुपये (100 rupees).
Nau Ras Mnemonic — Shringara, Hasya, Karuna, Raudra, Veer, Bhayanaka, Bibhatsa, Adbhuta, Shanta. Remember: ShHa Ka Ra V Bh Bi A Sh.
Ling Parichay — Words ending in *आ, ई, इया* usually feminine; *आव, पन, त्व* make abstract nouns. Quick check: if you can say "यह/वह" comfortably, note natural gender.

Mathematics
Divisibility by 11 — Subtract alternating digit sums: (odd positions) – (even positions). If result = 0 or divisible by 11, number is divisible by 11. Example: 121 → (1+1)–2 = 0 ✓
LCM × HCF Rule — For two numbers: LCM × HCF = Product of the numbers. Shortcut to find one when you know three values.
Percentage-Fraction Quick Converts — 10%=1/10, 20%=1/5, 25%=1/4, 33⅓%=1/3, 50%=1/2, 66⅔%=2/3, 75%=3/4. Memorize these 7 for instant calculation.
Profit-Loss Formula Flip — CP = [100/(100±Gain/Loss%)] × SP. Plus for profit, minus for loss. Remember: CP on left, 100 in numerator.
Compound Interest Shortcut — For 2 years: CI = P[r/100][2 + r/100]. Saves time vs double calculation. For 3 years, use standard formula.
Triangle Area Fast — When base & height given: Area = ½ × base × height. For Heron's formula: s = (a+b+c)/2, then A = √[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)].
Environmental Studies / General Awareness
HP State Formation Date — Himachal Pradesh became full state on 25 January 1971 (think: Republic Day minus 1 day). Reorganized from Union Territory.
