- CSEET applies uniform qualifying standards across all categories—there is no category-based reservation or differential cutoff. All candidates must secure a minimum of 40% aggregate (80/200) and at least 30% in each individual paper to pass.
- Cutoffs remain stable year-to-year as this is a qualifying examination, not a rank-based selection. Focus is on clearing the 40% threshold rather than competing for rank.
- Merit recognition (top scorers) typically begins around 75-80%+, but passing remains the primary goal for progression to CS Executive Programme.
