3 Kaal (Tenses) — Bhoot (Past), Vartaman (Present), Bhavishya (Future). "BVB" – yesterday, today, tomorrow sequence.
Ling (Gender) Signs — Masculine often ends in आ/वान/पन; Feminine often ends in ई/नी/इया. Common pattern recognition speeds identification.

Modal Degrees of Certainty — Must > Will > Should > May > Might > Could. Decreasing certainty scale from definite to possible.
Preposition Time: On/In/At — IN for months/years/seasons, ON for days/dates, AT for exact times. "IN big periods, ON days, AT points."
Subject-Verb Agreement: INABUS — Indefinite pronouns (anyone, everyone, someone, no one, each) always take singular verbs. "Everyone IS" not "are."
Common Idioms Pattern — "Piece of cake" (easy), "Break the ice" (start conversation), "Hit the nail" (exactly right). Link meaning to visual image for recall.
Mathematics (Paper I)
Divisibility by 3 & 9 — Sum all digits; if divisible by 3/9, number is too. Example: 123 → 1+2+3=6 (÷3 yes, ÷9 no).
LCM × HCF = Product Rule — For two numbers: LCM × HCF = First number × Second number. Quick verification tool.
BODMAS Order — Brackets, Of (orders/powers), Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction. Left-to-right within same priority level.
Area vs Perimeter — Perimeter = boundary length (linear units); Area = space inside (square units). "Perimeter protects, Area fills."
Fraction Comparison — Cross-multiply to compare: For a/b vs c/d, compare a×d with b×c. Larger product indicates larger fraction.
Place Value Trick — In 3456: 6 is ones, 5 is tens, 4 is hundreds, 3 is thousands. Each position is 10× previous leftward.

5 Themes of EVS (PEACE) — Plants/Animals, Environment, Awareness, Community, Everyday life. Integrated nature of subject coverage.
Bihar Rivers (GKS) — Ganga, Kosi, Sone, Gandak major rivers. "Good Kids Study Geography" for four main systems.
Food Groups (GPCFV) — Grains, Proteins, Calcium (dairy), Fats, Vitamins (fruits/vegetables). Balanced diet requires all five groups.
CCE in EVS Tools — Observation, oral tests, projects, portfolios, group work. Multiple assessment modes beyond written tests mandatory.
Mathematics and Science (Paper II)
Quadratic Formula Memory — x = [-b ± √(b²-4ac)] / 2a. "Negative boy, plus-minus square root, boy squared minus four alpha charlie, over two alpha."
Algebra: (a+b)² Expansion — a² + 2ab + b². Visual: square has 4 parts (a², b², ab, ab). Similarly (a-b)² = a² - 2ab + b².
Pythagoras Theorem — In right triangle: (Hypotenuse)² = (Base)² + (Height)². Remember Pythagorean triples: 3-4-5, 5-12-13, 8-15-17.
Acids Turn Litmus — Acids turn blue litmus red; Bases turn red litmus blue. "A for Acids to Red" reversal.
Ohm's Law Triangle — V=IR. Cover what you want (V, I, or R); remaining shows formula. V at top, I and R at bottom.
Newton's Three Laws — 1st: Inertia (rest/motion persists), 2nd: F=ma (force=mass×acceleration), 3rd: Action-Reaction pairs. Sequential logic flow.
Social Studies (Paper II)
Indian Constitution Date — 26 January 1950 (Republic Day). Adopted 26 November 1949. Remember: 26th features twice, gap of 2 months.
Three Government Tiers — Central (Union), State, Local (Panchayat/Municipal). "CSL" – Centre to State to Local hierarchy.
Ancient India Chronology — Indus Valley (3300-1300 BCE) → Vedic (1500-500 BCE) → Maurya (322-185 BCE) → Gupta (320-550 CE). River-Vedas-Maurya-Golden sequence.
Medieval India Dynasties — Delhi Sultanate (1206-1526) → Mughal Empire (1526-1857). "DS before ME" – Sultanate precedes Mughals by 320 years.
Sustainable Development Goals — 17 SDGs adopted 2015. Remember "No Poverty" is Goal 1, "Climate Action" is Goal 13 (unlucky for planet).
