What they actually do

Dentists do everything from routine cleanings + fillings to root canals, extractions, orthodontics, implants. Most dentists run private practices (own or partner clinic); some specialise via MDS (3 more years) into ortho, prosth, oral surgery, etc.

How to become a Dentist (BDS)
