# Free SSC and RRB typing test practice, English and Hindi

Shishya's free typing test at shishya.in/typing scores you the way SSC CHSL, SSC CGL (DEST) and RRB NTPC typing tests do: net words per minute, accuracy and key depressions per hour, against the real pass benchmarks. It works in English and Hindi.

For: Aspirants who must clear a typing or data-entry skill test after the written exam.

## Steps

1. **Open the typing test** — Go to the typing test page. (https://shishya.in/typing)
2. **Pick English or Hindi** — Choose the language you will take the skill test in.
3. **Type the passage** — Type as you would in the exam, without stopping to fix every mistake.
4. **Read your score** — You see net WPM, accuracy and key depressions per hour, and whether you clear the benchmark.
5. **Practise daily** — Short daily tests build speed faster than one long session a week.

## Tips

- Accuracy counts as much as speed: errors cut your net WPM.
- Practise on a physical keyboard if your exam centre uses one.

## When Shishya is not the right tool

It is practice, not the official skill test, and it cannot certify your speed for a job application.

## Questions

**Is the typing test free?** Yes.

**Does it support Hindi?** Yes, English and Hindi.
